Thanksgiving 2008

We began the morning with a traditional holiday spam breakfast...here is Greyson helping make it

Cael helped too!

Cael, Greyson and Brinsley watching the parade together on tv

Steve bought the boys some candy cane pens with ink that smelled like peppermint. Surprisingly enough, they were a HUGE hit with both Greyson and Cael! Here they are drawing/writing with them after breakfast

Brinsley hangin' out in her bumbo seat

Steve is teaching the boys how to play their new game, 'Dunk the Ducks'. This was their first shooting lesson ever! =)

Greyson taking a turn at shooting the ducks

Cael's turn now!

Brinsley had her Thanksgiving dinner before we went to Cracker Barrell and had her after dinner nap AT Cracker Barrell! LOL

Cael and daddy at Cracker Barrell just a few moments before Thanksgiving dinner was served

All my boys!

Brinsley's got a great sniffer! She woke up as soon as the food arrived! =)

Steve made a "tent" for the boys in their bedroom so they could have a sleepover and watch dvd's on Thanksgiving night

Brinsley zonked out for the night!

Pictures, pictures, pictures!!

It was Spirit Week at Greyson's school a few weeks back...this was school colors day (green & gold)

Tacky Day!

Cael & Brinsley chillin on the futon (or foo-TIME as Greyson has always called it)

We are officially red necks: We live in the south, drive an old pick up truck and dress our children in blue jean overalls! LOL

Cael is sporting my boots, Steve's hat and a completely mismatched outfit that daddy put on him! =)

Brinsley loves her swing!

Cael loves to help give Brinsley a bath

She's really starting to like her excersaucer quite a bit

Believe it or not, it got a little chilly for a few days here...hence, the hat!

Birthday and Halloween Celebrations

Greyson turned six years old on October 30th. We had his favorite meal that night for dinner...taco pie. The Saturday following his birthday we went to the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and then to Lego Land to play for awhile.

On Halloween we went to church where the kids participated in trunk or treating. The boys had lots of fun and got LOTS of candy!!

Pictures below...

He woke up to a birthday pancake breakfast

Steve & a little bit of Brinsley

Steve preached tonight and did a GREAT job!! He has such a natural gift for that. He truly has a heart for the lost and for people in general. You can hear the compassion and the concern in his voice when he is preaching about the desperation in the world and about the incredible need to reach the lost for Christ.

Steve can (and does) witness to anybody, anywhere. Whether it's a server in a restaurant, a man behind him in line at Home Depot or someone who comes forward during an invitation at church...he is not intimidated, ashamed or afraid to boldly witness to others with the sincere desire of seeing them give their lives over to Christ. What an encouragement and inspiration he is to so many...including me!

On a completely different note...tonight Brinsley wore her FIRST pair of jeans and her FIRST pair of tennis shoes to church!! I took a few hundred pictures of course. LOL.

Here's one of the many

Mommy Mondays

Steve started seminary a few weeks ago (he is going for a Masters Degree in Christian Education). He is attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary...they have a branch at First Baptist Orlando. His classes are on Mondays - all day. So every Monday it's pretty much the kids and me. Here are some pictures of one of our 'Mommy Mondays'.

Greyson helped make dinner (fish sticks, french fries and pinto beans)
